These are our students at Sparks After School (formerly Jewish Tutoring Club)!
Chabad Sparks is a vibrant Jewish learning program for children, designed to foster a strong, positive and meaningful connection to their Jewish identity.
Our one-on-one student teacher ratio gives your child undivided attention, allowing each tutor to focus on a child’s individual needs, moving at their own pace.
We use a high-quality, engaging curriculum developed by CKids, which brings Judaism to life through interactive lessons, discussions, stories and hands-on activities. Children explore Jewish values, holidays, mitzvot and traditions in a way that is relevant, exciting and age-appropriate.
For Hebrew reading, we use the internationally acclaimed Aleph Champ program. This structured and motivating system allows children to progress step-by-step at their own level, building confidence and fluency in Hebrew in a fun and rewarding way.
We are dedicated to making the richness of our Jewish heritage accessible to every Jew, regardless of affiliation or level of observance.
Chabad Sparks prides itself on being a safe, nurturing and welcoming space for every child.
All staff hold a valid WWCC and undergo appropriate training.

Sparks After School 2026
There will be no Sparks After School in Term 1.
2026 Term Dates:
Term 1: No SAS
Term 2: April 27th - June 22nd (exluding June 8th)
Term 3: July 20th - September 14th
Term 4: October 12th - December 7th
Sign Up in 4 Simple Steps:
Step 1 - Hubworks Profile
If your child has not attended any overnight, day camps or clubs with Chabad Youth or Chabad Sparks before please follow the link and enrol at
chabadyouth.hubworks.com.au.
This form only needs to be filled out once and it will be relevant for all Chabad Sparks Programs.
This is a requirement. Your enrolment will not be formalised until your hubworks profile is complete.
If your child already has a hubworks profile - you can skip to step 2!
Step 2 - Immunisation Record
Email a copy of your child's immunisation record to
[email protected] OR mail to Chabad Sparks, 1 A'Beckett Street S.Kilda East, VIC 3183.
This is a requirement. Your enrolment will not be formalised until our office has a current copy.
This only needs to be sent once in the 2026 calendar year.
If you have already sent this to us - you can skip to step 3!
Step 3 - Allergy Action Plan
If your child has been diagnosed with any of the following you will need to email or mail us an action plan completed by a doctor (must include a photo of your child):
- Asthma
- Anaphylaxis
- Epilepsy
- Diabetes
- Allergies/Intolerances (food, diet, sunscreen, band aids etc).
This only needs to be sent once in the 2026 calendar year.
If you have already sent this to us, or this isn't applicable for your child - you can skip to step 4!
Step 4 - Registration Into Program
Complete the online Sparks Afterschool form 2026. This form manages the legally required information for childcare purposes such as your personal information, information about your child and certain authorisations. It is a mandatory pre-requisite for booking into the program. This only needs to be filled out once a year for Tuition.
