    Chabad Malvern & Chabad Bentleigh run as separate child care providers. Each child care provider assumes responsibility of the children who sign up under their respective systems.

    HOURS:

    Monday to Thursday: 9:15 am - 4:00 pm

    Before Care: 8:30 am - 9:15 am

  • The Childcare Subsidy (CCS) will be in effect for this day camp. CCS will be based on a family's combined income, activity test and the service type. Parents need to have a MyGov account which needs to be linked to your centrelink account for all future payments. If you are unsure if you qualify please be in touch with the family assistance office. 


    IMPORTANT: If your child has not attended any overnight or day camps with Chabad Youth before please follow the link and enrol at

    We also require a copy of your childs immunisation record. This is a mandatory requirement before acceptance into our daycamp.

    Sparks Holiday Blast Policy 

    • Bookings will need to have at least two days selected. 
    • Cancellation fee for taking your child out after 48 hours of receiving a confirmation email will be $50.
    • Any changes or cancellations to your book must be sent through via email to [email protected]
    • Any changes/ cancellations to your booking after the closing of date will be charged in full.
    • No changes to your enrolment after June 19th, 2026
    • If your child is sick and has a doctors certificate you will be charged $40. 
    • If you see that the day you want is ‘booked out’ you can contact Mussie at [email protected] to find out if we have any cancellations.
  • Chabad Sparks Holiday Blast Tshirts will now be available for Purchase at $7 each. Each child requires a Tshirt to attend Holiday Blast.

  • VACATION CARE AUTHORISATION FORM

    Collecting your child from the Chabad Youth OSHC premises

    We recommend all children are to be picked up by a Parent or an Authorised Nominee directly from the Chabad Youth OSHC premises. An Authorised Nominee means a person who has been given permission by a parent or family member to collect the child from the education and care service.

    If you would like for your child to walk home by themselves, or to a location to be picked up, in accordance with Regulation 99(4)(b), they will need to be signed out by a Chabad Youth OSHC staff member and/or volunteer before exiting the premises.

  • Authorisation for Excursion Form:

    Our service has organised an excursion for your child to attend. All of the relevant details are provided below for your convenience. The service has conducted an Excursion Risk Assessment which is available for your review upon request. For your child to attend, you are required to read this information and complete the Authority for Excursion Form. To complete this Form, you must be listed on the child’s enrolment record as either their parent or an Authorised Nominee.

  • Date of Excursions and Destinations:

    Mode of transport for all excursions: Charter Bus. All busses are fitted with seat belts. 

    Educator Ratio for all excursions will be 1:15.

    29 June Metartworld (155 Boundary St, Port Melbourne VIC 3207) each way 20 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to explore immersvie art exhibitions. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    30 June Activate by Hardrock (4/444 Warrigal Rd, Heatherton VIC 3202) each way 25 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of different climbing challenges. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    1 July Caribbean Rollerama (1298 Ferntree Gully Rd, Scoresby VIC 3179) each way 35 minutes, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to rollerskate and rollerblade. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    2 July Glowzone (32 Levanswell Rd, Moorabbin VIC 3189) each way 20 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to participate in glow in the dark sports games. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    6 July Dreamskape (Westfield Southland, Level 1 Shop 2089/1239 Nepean Hwy, Cheltenham VIC 3192) each way 20 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of virtual reality activities. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    7 July Airoworld (61 Dohertys Rd, Altona North VIC 3025) each way 25 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to use the various trampolines. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    8 July TimeZone Bowling & Laser Tag (1866 Princes Hwy Service Rd, Clayton VIC 3168) each way 30 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a game of ten pin bowling and laser tag. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    9 July Rainbow Town (49-55 Myrtle St, Glen Waverley VIC 3150) each way 30 mins, Off site time 3 hours. Activity: Campers will have the opportunity to participate in trampolining, bumper cars and rock climbing. Expected number of participants: 45 campers, 3 staff, 6 volunteers

    Reason for excursion: Excursions during vacation care are for children to develop an understanding of belonging to groups and communities and to learn to interact in relation to others with care, empathy and respect. The excursions create a fun learning environment with physical activities.

    Transportation Details (to and from): The most convenient and safest route as determined by the bus driver at the time. They will be going by private charter bus. A Google Maps route is available in the risk assessments 

    Staff to child ratio: Will be a minimum of 1:7. Up to 45 children with 3 staff and 6 volunteers.

    The Period the Child will be Away from the Service Premises Children will be off premises for approx. 3 - 4 hours (unless on a full day excursion).

    Authority for my Child to Attend the Excursion:

    • My child has my permission to attend the excursion listed.
    • I am listed on the child’s Enrolment Form as a Parent or Authorised Nominee.
    • I have read all of the details provided by the service and understand that I can access the Excursion Risk Assessment at the service.
    • I understand that all written policies and procedures  for transporting children are available at the Chabad Youth office and on our website. 
    • The contact details, including all emergency contact details, listed on my child’s Enrolment Form are up-to-date. If not, I have provided the updated contact details above.
  • Payment Information

    Cost: $110/ day

    Please note that CCS does not apply to absent days at the start or end of a day camp program. Parents will be liable for the full fee. 

    Please note payment MUST be received BEFORE your child attends camp.

    Government subsidies are available. Payment will be processed after childcare deductions have been calculated. If you choose to pay by another method leave the credit card form blank, however your child's place will not be confirmed until your payment has been received.(There is a 3% surcharge for American Express payments.)
